I take my shih tzu on a 5 minute walk everyday (sometimes twice a day) and I let her run around outside and sometimes play fetch with her. Do you think she gets enough exercise?
You are doing just fine for your dog. That is what nice about a Shih Tzu they don’t require that much exercise. They do very well in a small apartment and small yard. The one exercise they require is sitting on your lap and they do that very well.
You are doing fine, just a short walk every day. Unless they are really hyper, then be sure to play alot, and give plenty of exercise time to her. An hour or two.

i have a shitzu named tyson he is very hyper and i take him for a walk on weekends for about 30 mins and we play in the backyard a lot so urs is getting enough exersize.
